Rebecca Frazzano Meagher, Principal and Founder

Rebecca has more than a decade of experience in marketing strategy. As the founder of Alchemist, Rebecca has worked in various consulting roles with companies in the food and beverage, financial services, and professional services industries. At Charles Schwab & Co., she oversaw market research projects and presented her findings directly to the President's office. Her expertise has allowed her to serve as Alchemist's team leader and content expert on training projects cover consumer insights, branding, competitive positioning, new product development, pricing, loyalty, awareness, and marketing communications. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University, with a minor in Economics, and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management with majors in Management & Strategy and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.



Evan Meagher, CFA , Principal and Founder

Evan has over ten years of experience working in strategy and finance consulting roles. In four years at Alchemist Consulting, he has conducted various market dynamics, sizing, and buyer decision driver analyses for companies ranging from small, entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 50 conglomerates. Prior to launching Alchemist Consulting, Evan worked in the Private Equity Placements Group for Banc of America Securities (BAS), Bank of America’s wholly-owned investment banking subsidiary, executing late stage venture capital placements and PIPE transactions for small, distressed public companies. Prior to joining BAS, Evan served as an analyst at Equity Partners, Inc., a boutique restructuring investment bank providing M&A advisory services to small companies in or approaching the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, typically through 363 sale transactions. Evan also possesses significant operating experience from founding or co-founding four companies in the business services and educational services sectors.

Evan holds a B.A. in economics from Stanford University, an M.A. in organizational behavior from Stanford’s Sociology Department and Graduate School of Business, an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, and a J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law, where he graduated Cum Laude and earned acceptance to the Order of the Coif. He holds a CFA charter, is a member of Mensa, and was selected from 1,400 Kellogg students by the Kellogg faculty as the inaugural recipient of Kellogg’s Four Pillars Award for Intellectual Depth. Evan has authored 11 cases for Kellogg Publications on a variety of business topics, assisted in the writing of Professor James B. Shein’s Reversing the Slide: A Strategic Guide to Turnarounds and Corporate Renewal, and served as the lead editor on Professor Daniel Diermeier’s Reputation Rules: Strategies for Building Your Company’s Most Valuable Asset.
